Động từ câu bị động: Be + Past Participle (V-ed/V3).
Chủ ngữ câu chủ động -> tân ngữ câu bị động ( sau giới từ by).
e.g.: Câu chủ động : Mr. Smith teaches English.
 Câu bị động : English is taught by Mr. Smith.
Dạng bị động theo thì:
Chú ý: Vpp = V3/Ved
Present simple
S + am/ is/ are + Vpp + ( by + O ).
Past simple
S + was, were + Vpp + ( by + O ).
Present progressive
S + am/is/ are + being + Vpp + ( by + O ).
Past progressive
S + was/ were + being + Vpp + ( by + O ).
Present perfect
S + have/ has + been + Vpp + ( by + O ).
Past perfect

Future simple

Exercise 7. Read the passage and answer the following sentences.
On Wednesday evening, we went to the Town Hall. It was the last day of the year and a large crowd of people had gathered under the Town Hall clock. It would strike twelve in twenty minutes' time. Fifteen minutes passed and then, at five to twelve, the clock stopped. The big minute hand did not move. We waited and waited, but nothing happened. Suddenly, someone shouted “It's two minutes past twelve! The clock has stopped!” I looked at my watch. It was true. The big clock refused to welcome the New Year.
